Cemre Shipyard was established as a company to carry our scraping and paint works
Following the successful years, Cemre leased an area from Pendik Military shipyard in order to develop the company and following this, started operating in shipbuilding industry.
The first ship, Havila Mars, was delivered to Havyard Grup A.S..
The 5th ship was delivered to Havyard Grup A.S..
The foundation of its own shipyard in Yalova, Altınova shipyards area, which is the new center of Turkish shipbuilding industry, was realized.
The workshop with an area of 10.000 m2 was established 500 meters away from the shipyard.
While the investments continued, the first ship in its own shipyard was delivered. Havila Jupiter
Cemre, expanded its shipyard to an area of total 70.000m².
During the 5 years of structuring and development process, Cemre delivered its 15th ship to the same customer.
Cemre continued its investments and completed the construction of a new indoor hangar with an area of 7.000 m².
Cemre signed its first turnkey delivery project with Norwegian Seaworks A.S. for 2 dry cargo ships of 2.000 DWT.
Cemre delivered the 20th ship to the same customer.
Cemre signed a project for 74,2 meters fishing boat with Norwegian company Østerbris.
Cemre completed the construction of 2 slipways in order to increase its annual shipbuilding capacity.
Cemre, as each year since 2009, achieved being among the top 1000 in export scoring.
In the beginning of the year, Cemre successfully delivered its first turnkey project and this was the 25th ship of Cemre
Cemre signed the project for 2 seismic support ships with the Norwegian Norfield company. The deliveries shall take place in 2015.
